Newport’s Back bay is a maze of estuary waters that you could literally spend a lifetime fishing. It offers so many opportunities from Surf and Float tubing to Kayaking and fishing from a boat. it also offers a diverse ecosystem of like Bass, Perch, Mullet, Sharks, Rays, Croaker, and many others. My best source of information on this area has and will always be His & Her Fly Shop owned and operated by Frank Selby. You won’t find a place with for information to give or people more willing to give it.
