SANTA ANITA CREEK
Santa Anita Creek is a great small body of water to fish for Rainbow Trout. I fish the waterfall dams along the creek they produce the most fish for me. Please remember to practice CATCH AND RELEASE ONLY!!! The creek does not get stocked ever so please release the fish so that future generations can enjoy this great resourse.
You will need a Forest Adventure Pass to park in the National Forest sections.
Practice Catch and Release Only, pick up trash if you see it, and respect this resource so that future generations can enjoy it!

We have got to respect the resource that has been given to us, or it could easily disappear within our lifetime!!!

Last month I caught two small wild rainbows and hooked several others. Didn’t see any browns this time. It’s a beautiful creek but gets a lot of traffic and the water slows to a trickle in the summer. I don’t know how the trout hang on but I’m glad they do. Beware of the poison oak.
