In light of Spring being just around the corner, I have to make my fly of the week this week the Wilson’s Bass Bully. This is an absolute deadly fly for Largmouth Bass. I know a hand full of brownliner’s (including myself at times) who live and die by this fly. I have personally seen and felt a couple of Bass go after this fly, and it gets them bad. I let it sink to the bottom, one long strip to bring it up in the water column, and let it sink right back to the bottom. The majority of the bites come on the sinking pause. Try it out, and you might just have yourself a great day. Pick a couple up at your local Orvis store.

That is a great looking pattern, would you happen to have the recipe to tie it. I am a novice tier and would like to take stab at this pattern if you have it.
