FLY OF THE WEEK

The Sparkle Dun is a great Trout Fly to use when the Mayfly hatch is on. This fly imitates a wide variety of Mayfly duns such as Pale Morning Duns, Sulphur, and Baetis Mayflies. This fly is fished in my opinion most effectively on a dead drift, and remember to get the fly to the Trout before your line gets there. I like this fly alot for small bodies of water supporting small Trout, as the body of the fly is sparse so the Trout don’t miss it very easily. However the wings make sure that the fly still has good visibility for the Fisherman. Pick them up today at The Trout Spot!
