FISH OF THE WEEK
Catching a new species of fish, to me is one of the best things about Fly Fishing. This is a photo of the very first Brownie that I ever caught. What a small but beautiful fish. Check out our Brown Trout post under our species page for more information on this amazing fsh.

Sweet. Which stream did you pull this guy out from?
(Carlos) I caught him on the Santa Ana River.
I didn’t know there were browns in the Santa Ana…I’ve fished Deep Creek and there are supposed to be brown in that creek.
