Join us for a day of unprecedented bass fishing talent! “Bass: The Movie” star anglers John Sherman and world record holder Larry Kurosaki will join southern California experts /guides Bob Slamal and Conway Bowman for a day of seminars and education about America’s favorite warm water game fish!

10:30AM: San Diego Warm Water Opportunities with Conway Bowman

Conway Bowman, past host of ESPN’s “In Search of Fly Water”, “Primal Predator” and Versus “Dollar Wise Fly. San Diego is home to both Florida and Northern strain largemouth bass and has 15 reservoirs for the adventurous fly angler to explore. Join Conway as he shows you how to catch really big bass on the world famous San Diego city lakes, all on the fly of course.

11:30AM: Trophy Bass Fishing on Lake Castaic & Lake Casitas with Larry Kurasaki

Larry Kurasaki is a featured angler on “Bass: The Movie” and holder of two world records and one state record for largemouth bass caught on the fly rod. Larry Kurasaki will show you what you need to know to be at the right place at the right time to hook trophy bass on two of southern California’s best bass fishing lakes. The next world record might be yours?

1:30PM: Fly Fishing the California Delta with John Sherman

Sandwiched around his seminar, John will be presenting the new and exciting product line up from Simms Fishing Products.

John Sherman - Simms Representative and photographer for the great new book “Fly Fishing the California Delta”, John Sherman will be presenting his must see program by the same name which will explore all of the amazing fly fishing opportunities in this incredible fishery, which is only a five hour drive from the OC!

2:30PM: Southern California Bass and Striper Opportunities with Bob Slamal

After being in the retail Fly Fishing business for forty years, Bob, now retired, is able to spend more time pursuing his love of Fly Fishing. Bob enjoys guiding on our local Southern California lakes and spends his summers guiding float trips on the Green River in Wyoming.

John Sherman - Come on a visual journey with renowned guide and southern California lakes expert Bob Slamal as he teaches you the tricks he has learned over his many years of fishing our local waters. From stripers to “bucket” mouths, Bob will cover it all!
